6 Simple Steps you should follow in order to Obtain Your Grant Aid

BEH Scheme Grant Application Process

Before you begin you application, be sure to have the following details readily available:

• MPRN number: this is located on the top right corner of your ESB bill and is 11 digits long.

• An e-mail address: this is so you can accept you grant and receive approval

• Bank details: you will need the account number, sort code, bank name and account name. Your grant will be paid directly into this account.

• Home details: the year the dwelling was built (must be before 2006)

• Contractor details: you need to have the ID number of a registered contractor. Our contractor ID is 10038.

ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP 1
Go to www.seai.ie

STEP 2
Click on ‘Home Energy Saving’. This is an orange box on the right hand side of the screen. Click on the ‘Click here to apply online’ box. Click Proceed to begin your application.

STEP 3
Enter your MPRN, Email Address, Dwelling type and year the house was built in the appropriate boxes. Click on ‘Proceed to next step’

STEP 4
Tick the measures of work which apply to you. Enter A-Rated Energy’s ID number 10038 in the box labelled Contractor ID. Leave the other boxes empty and click search. When our company information appears in the other boxes tick the small box on the right hand side to confirm you have the correct company. Complete the same step for each measure of work which is applicable for you.

STEP 5
Enter you contact details in the given boxes. Proceed to next step.

STEP 6
Enter bank details in the appropriate boxes. Proceed to next step.

*Please note your application will expire if you do not accept within 72 hours. If this occurs, please reapply using the above steps

Once you have accepted your application you should expect to receive your Declaration of Works forms within a week by Post. All you need to do is sign your name under the homeowner section. A-Rated Energy will fill out at the rest after the completion of works.
